Bill Deasy is the former lead singer/songwriter of the Gathering Field, who were signed to Atlantic Records. Bill now records and tours as a solo artist, and continues to write songs for other artists as well. His songs can be heard on albums by artists such as Martina McBride, Kim Richey, Howard Jones, Billy Ray Cyrus, The Clarks and One Flew South. Bill appeared on camera in a very successful television campaign for “Good Morning America”, singing his own song, “Good Things Are Happening”. His voice and song, “Your Home”, was also heard in KDKA/CBS’ 2008 campaign. Bill’s songs have made other television appearances, in shows for Discovery Health, Lifetime, MTV and recently, as the theme song for CMT’s first sitcom, “Working Class”. In the last few years, Bill Deasy added “published author” to his credentials. He has had three books released; “Ransom Seaborn”, “Traveling Clothes” and most recently, “Ghost Tree”.
